Read Across America Week!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

We read Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss and then ate them for a special snack!

We also read Bartholomew and the Oobleck. We got to make oobleck during science on Friday.

If you would like to play with oobleck at home all you need is cornstarch and water. Mix together about 1 cup of water and 1 1/2 cups of cornstarch. Add a few drops of food coloring to the water to make the oobleck colorful!

A look back at the 1st 100 days of Kindergarten!

Can you believe that we have already celebrated the 100th day of kindergarten? I hope you enjoy these pictures of our first 100 days!

We made windsocks when we learned about weather!

In October, we all dug out the insides of a pumpkin! Yuk!

Miss. Bishop carved it to look like Mickey Mouse!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with a feast!

We performed puppet shows of our favorite stories!

At Christmas time, we read a story about Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and made Rudolph puppets!
To celebrate the 100th day of kindergarten we...

... made 100th Day of School crowns and
glasses out of the number 100....

... we collected 100 things and displayed them on our door for everyone to see....

... decorated 100 hearts with our favorite things about kindergarten!
